The Road to Code

Welcome to The Road to Code

Attention all incoming 7th, 8th and 9th graders!

Want to discover your inner super power? Want to find out how to positively impact our world? Want to be a tech rock star? Only 1 in 10 schools teach code; lucky for you, Hoppockā€™s one of them. Computer science is all about how a computer works, and coding is where you come in, programming your computer to solve problems in the most efficient way. Coding teaches you how to think and teaches you persistence. Come get a head start on the 21st century in a supportive, playful environment as we learn about loops, functions, algorithms, apps, conditionals and abstractions--and hopefully inspire your young mind to enter into a profession that is not only creative but highly in demand. Fun is guaranteed--just ask my 6th graders!

If you have a Family Account through BT Rec (Boosters), you are ready to rock and roll. Login & Register!

Please check here often to keep up to date with assignments, News, new links to cool stuff. Please read the "Program Description" for full information. We like your feedback and suggestions!
