Flag football introduces young players to the game of American football by substituting flags for tackling. Players attempt to grab the opposing player's flags to complete a play. Teaching the basic, fundamental techniques is fun and rewarding as players see improvement in their game-play and become prepared for Mighty Mite football.
Flag Football is designed for players age eligible to enter K-2nd Grades. Teams are divided based on age, and ability level to ensure safety of play.
We often try to find unique ways of connecting some of oldest player (WHS Football) with our flag program throughout the season. Details will be pinned down for the upcoming season soon.
