Volunteer Sign-Ups

Volunteering

THE GOAL OF THE VOLUNTEER POLICY IS TO DISTRIBUTE THE WORKLOAD AMONG ALL OF THE WOYFCA FAMILIES.

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP GENIUS will be available once 2019 season schedule is finalized.

Wells-Ogunquit Youth Football and Cheering Association is a community run nonprofit organization providing our youth a place to grow within our community. This program relies 100% on unpaid volunteers to donate their time to make all of this successful for our children in the community. Without volunteers and their efforts none of this would be possible.

Each team will have a set amount of volunteer shifts assigned based on the number of home games and the organization’s needs. These opportunities will be equally divide among the family members assigned to each team. Each family could be assigned one or more volunteer shifts based on the number of players and cheerleaders participating. Some parents will simply be required to do more based on team size. ALL Parents are required to work at least one shift in the concession stand during the season for each child participating in the Wells-Ogunquit Youth Football Program. If a family member does not sign up for their shift through the Sign-up Genius,  one will be assigned by the Team Coordinator. It is the parent’s responsibility to find a replacement or trade with another parent for a shift if they cannot make it. The volunteer replacement can be anyone at least 18 years old. 

Please do your part in helping to make this program successful for this season and for seasons to come. If we are lacking volunteers- our concessions, home games, and eventually entire organization will not run. Thank you very much for your support!
