About Me

I have previously been an Ed Tech 3/Co Teacher at LINE School at RSU 57 and before that a first grade teacher at Shapleigh Memorial in the 2015/2016 school year. I have also been a substitute teacher in the Wells-Ogunquit School System in all three schools as well as the elementary schools in the Sanford School System. I work closely with the administrative staff as well as the principals and assistant principals at every school in which I have had the pleasure of teaching. I seek out assistance from the Special Education team, as well as the school guidance counselor, for any concerns with my students.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on children from ages birth to third grade. I have also earned a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I continue my professional development through district collaboration days as well as regular staff meetings and colleague collaboration time. I have extensive experience in teaching the Lucy Calkins Writing Units of Study as well as the current version of the Everyday Mathematics program.

I am a confident educator with a passion for developing the skills of my young students. My students love the humor and positive atmosphere of my classroom. I work to teach them good character, values, and citizenship as well as the knowledge and skills needed to move on to the next grade level
