OVERVIEW
The Voorhees STARS are a Girls' Travel Fastpitch Softball Program.  We play as a competitive “B” level  fastpitch softball organization fully governed by USA Softball rules.  Most years, the STARS sponsor teams at 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U Divisions.  In our inaugural season in 1996, our primary focus was to promote softball within the Voorhees High School sending district schools. However, we now welcome any player from neighboring communities and counties who has the desire to play softball and meets all USA Softball requirements.

MISSION
It is the mission of the Voorhees STARS to be dedicated to the development of our players in the sport of fastpitch softball.  We will practice safety and COVID-19 protocols, good sportsmanship and promote an environment conducive to further developing their playing skills.  We emphasize teamwork, leadership, respect for all players and coaches, and most importantly inspire a “can do” attitude.  The STARS program will positively influence the development of our player’s lives on and off the field, imbue confidence and self-esteem, and support their skill development to have success at the high school level. Many of our STARS graduates have competed at the collegiate level in Division I, II and III, including a graduate who went on to compete for the New Jersey-New York Comets, a former professional softball team.
